Put one name on each line
Open the worksheet tool and replace the sample name in Names. Type or paste up to 50 names, one per line. Use the spelling each child practices, including accents, spaces or hyphens. For a larger class list, make a second batch.
- 2
Choose settings for the group
Select US Letter or A4 to match your paper. Choose Dotted or Light gray, then set Tracing rows. Under More settings, you can keep the solid-letter example row, add blank rows, and adjust Practice size. These settings apply to every page in the batch.
- 3
Check every page, then download
Use the preview arrows to look through the names, especially the longest ones. Check spelling and page count. Download PDF saves the whole batch in one file, even when the preview is showing only one child’s page. Print one test sheet before the full set.
Different children may need different layouts
Make separate batches when you want fewer rows, larger letters, or more blank space for part of the class. A long name may be reduced to fit the line; inspect its preview before printing. Choose a comfortable amount of practice for the child rather than filling every available row.
Check the list before sharing the file
Names are processed in your browser and are not uploaded by the tool. The downloaded PDF contains the names you entered, so check the file before sharing or sending it to a shared printer. The sample list here is only an example.
