Name Tracing with Accents and Different Languages

The spelling of a name and the language of the worksheet are separate choices. Enter the name as it is written, then choose the heading and character forms that suit your practice sheet.

How automatic character forms work

Auto chooses Japanese forms for names containing kana and Korean forms for names containing Hangul. For Han-only names, it uses the worksheet language when that is Chinese, Japanese or Korean; otherwise it uses Simplified Chinese forms. Choose a form explicitly when you need a particular regional shape. This changes the font form, not the characters you typed.

Tracing guides are not stroke-order lessons

The sheet gives an outline to trace and space to practice. It does not show stroke order or correct the way a child writes. For Chinese, Japanese or Korean practice, use the worksheet alongside the writing guidance given by the child’s teacher or caregiver.

Common questions

Does it support every language and character?

No. The included fonts cover many Latin letters with accents, Cyrillic, and Chinese, Japanese and Korean characters, but coverage is not universal. If a character is unavailable, the tool reports it and prevents export. Check the spelling; do not remove a required mark just to bypass the message.

Does choosing Traditional Chinese convert a simplified name?

No. Character forms selects a regional font form. It does not convert simplified characters to traditional characters, or translate a name. Enter the exact characters you want on the sheet.

Can the website stay in English with a Korean worksheet?

Yes. Keep English in the website language menu, then choose Korean under More settings → Worksheet language. The worksheet heading changes to Korean while the controls stay in English.
